We had quesadillas for lunch. Michael's current favorite food. He loves most anything that involves cheese. Mikey's a man with good taste.
His birthday present from us was a big bag of Mega Blocs which has been a big hit. He loves taking them all apart. Tyler was a good sport (kinda) about Mikey's birthday gifts. I love that Tyler and Mike are starting to play together a little. It helps that Mikey is happy to do anything that Tyler is doing and that he is content so when a toy is swiped away, it's not that big of a deal.
Poor little Ty Bug was super sick on Michael's birthday which is another reason we didn't do a lot. So sad!The most exciting thing that happened on Monday was that Mikey took his first steps!! Hooray! It was one of the cutest things I've ever seen because he was so proud of himself. Tyler and I were both cheering like crazy. Confession, I may or may not have gotten a little teared up. All day I was on the verge of a melt down. I kept thinking, "Soon he'll be off to college and I'll never see him again." Oh my, when did I become this way? I love my sweet little Mikey. Luckily we have a few more birthday's to go before he leaves the house.

Remember how Tyler got sick like that when I came out after Mikey was born? So sad. Hope he's already bouncing back!
