Don't you wanna kiss and hug that baby all day long? I do...and I do. Michael is turning one in a couple weeks which is baffling. The other day my mom said he was looking less and less like a baby and more and more like a toddler. I disagree. I guess I'm not ready to admit it. One of the things I love about Baby Mike is that he imitates many things we do and then laughs and laughs. Today I was singing along with music and Mikey joined right in, "
Ahhh...ahhhh...uhhh...ahhh." Then, he looked at me like, "
Aren't I clever Mom?" He has always been super contended but lately he's picked up a bit of an attitude. When we're rocking him before bedtime, he grabs his
paci and throws it down because he knows it'll delay his sleep time. I can see that this new habit might get old but right now Tom and I think it's hilarious. Mikey loves, loves, loves playing patty cake. When we sing it, he can barely control himself because he's laughing so hard. He's also super tough. If he gets hurt, he typically cries for a second then goes back to playing. However, if I leave him in a place where he doesn't want to be or with a stranger the kid completely melts down. It's really sad because his face gets all puffy and red. I love my little Mikey
Roo.

I can't believe it's been almost a year since Macy and I came out to meet our new little cousin/nephew! Thanks for sharing pics, etc, as he's growing so fast!
We're coming to party with Mikey, play Patty Cake, sing Row Row Your Boat and eat cake!
