JUMP Down on Jumpstreet

The other day I noticed that the coolest cop show known to man was on Netflix. Please tell me that someone besides my older brother and me watched this show in the early 90s. Obviously, I had to get it. It was a lot cheesier than I remembered but still awesome. I even remembered the words to the song, "Your friends will be there when your backs against the wall..." I have fond memories of sneaking to watch this show (pretty sure my parents thought it was inappropriate). Anyway...

The other day I was watching during nap time while folding laundry and Tyler woke up. I told him I was watching a cop show and turned it off after about two seconds with Ty. While I was putting laundry away, Tyler told me he was bored. I gave him a few ideas of things to do but he said, "No I just want to be bored." Alright dude, your choice.

When Tom and I were saying prayers with Tyler that night, he blurted out, "Daddy! Mommy and I watched a cop show but it was yucky." Tom and I both started cracking up and Tom was like, "Oh really, is that what Mommy shows you when I'm not here?" Later when Tom was rocking Tyler, Tyler gave him the full details, "Daddy today I was SO bored while Mommy was watching her yucky cop show. I just rocked and rocked because I was so bored. I was bored for my whole life."

WHAT??? Tom totally busted me. You know, like how Johnny Depp busted those high school kids for stealing cars. HA! I love that show.
