This year we spent Thanksgiving at my parents' house with my brothers and their families. It was crazy and awesome. Crazy because we had 7 kids 4 and under and awesome because we were all together. The kids did an awesome job getting along with each other and listening to the all the adults tell them what to do. I really wish we got together with everyone more often, because our kids are so stinkin' cute together.
Check out sweet little Lily with all those boys. She's a really good sport to put up with all the rough housing. Luckily, Isaac and Tyler were also up for the occasional game of house. Love it! My mom bought the kids matching outfit and April took pictures with everyone. Poor little Dallin just held on for dear life during the pictures. Don't you love how he's laying down in the bottom one? I know I'm biased but he's such a cute little guy. He reminds me of when Isaac was a baby because it was so easy to get him to smile and laugh. Don't you love babies who don't cry the minute you hold them? All the kids loved that Grandma taped their favorite shows along with new ones they hadn't seen. I wish I had a picture of them piled up on Grandma and Grandpa's bed watching shows in the morning while my parents attempted to catch a few more minutes of sleep. It's one of Tyler's favorite things to do.
We celebrated Mikey's birthday while we were together. My mom took the three older kids to the dollar store to pick out gifts. It was fun to see them give their gift to Mikey and then ask to play with it themselves right away. Lily got Mikey bracelets which he wore the rest of the time. Tyler got him a police officer kit with a badge, two guns and handcuffs. He and Isaac made it a point to get their use out of that. Isaac got Mikey a car and even let him play with it. That yellow necklace Grant is wearing was also a popular item. Every day when Mikey got up, he'd say, "Where's my necklace?"
Grandma gave all the kids their Christmas gifts early. She got a bunch of costumes for each family...big hit!
Aunt Meg spent a couple of days with us and gave all the kids the Elf on the Shelf book. I have to admit that I felt cool when they all stopped what they were doing and let me read it to them. Maybe it's because I'm such am awesome aunt.
As always we took our obligatory trip to the Bouncy Barn and as always it was a blast.
My parents did such a great job having fun activities and yummy food planned for all of us. It's funny to think that just a few years ago it was only Garrett, Brian and I celebrating Christmas with my parents. I love how things can change so quickly.

How fun! I love the matching outfits and the joy they got out of the gifts they got to pick out themselves. It does look like Lily might appreciate you adding a girl to this bunch!
