ColoRAAADo

This past week Tom had a presentation at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO.  Because I have an awesome mom and dad who were willing to hang out with my boys, I got to tag along.  The boys had the time of their lives with Grandma and Grandpa (bouncy barn, lawn mower rides, chick fil a, Bass Pro...Grandma and Grandpa rock).  Tom and I loved our little get away.  We left super early on Wednesday morning and got back Thursday afternoon so it was a quick trip. 

 Tom found a place close to where we were staying that did ziplining.  It was the perfect thing to do in the short amount of time we had.  Before it started, I wasn't nervous at all but I think Tom was because he had his game face on.  I love how dorky we look in our gear. 

 Once we got started, I was the nervous one and Tom was the tough one.  We both had a ton of fun.  It was beautiful up there in the mountains.  It made me miss Utah.  I'm happy that we live in Oklahoma and I wouldn't have it any other way, but places like Colorado make Oklahoma look a little lame when it comes to scenery and outdoor activities. 

 Here's my very first experience with instagram.   

After ziplining we drove to our hotel and walked around downtown Golden.  I went for a little run while he got ready for his presentation.  When he was gone, I did a little exploring in downtown, grabbed dinner to go and went to our hotel.  I spent the rest of the night being super lazy which was glorious.  I need to tag along on work trips more often.
