One of the things we didn't like about our new house is that it was covered in ivy. It was overtaking everything and I think it looks cluttered for lack of a better word.
The last few weekends we've been working to pull it all off which isn't an easy task because it's
everywhere. Tom did most of the work
(THANKS!).
Did you know that when you pull down ivy it leaves residue that you can only get off with a pressure washer or wire brush which also takes off the paint? We do. Now we get to embark on the fun task of painting...or paying someone else to paint it. At least we really love our house or all this work wouldn't be worth it.
