Family Reunion 2011
How many times do I need to say that I wish I would have taken more pictures? Arg. A couple weeks ago we all spent a week with my family. We had a blast. My favorite was that the older kids loved playing with each other. We were all super impressed that they were kind to each other pretty much the entire time. Hopefully that trend can continue. After spending the first half of the week at my mom and dad's house, we went to Stillwater for a big family reunion. I don't have any pictures of that...lame I know. It was crazy and fun as usual. A day after we got home, Tyler said, "Mommy, I want to go back to the family reunion." Love it!
I'm grateful that my parents make such a big effort to get the family together and they make it so much fun for my kids. I'm also grateful that my sisters in law make a huge effort to be with us so often. My brothers did a good job...some might even say that they are a little out of their league...in fact, I'm pretty sure they would say that.
This book was a big hit with Isaac, Lily and Tyler. Aunt Christina and Aunt April read it a bunch of times to all of them. It's falling apart because it was also one of my favs when I was a kid too.
Isn't Lily adorable? She has the sweetest, cutest little voice. I just want to love on her all day. Lily was a good sport because the two boys were totally crazy and she put up with it. She shared and didn't throw a fit if someone took something from her. What a sweetie.
Isaac and Tyler were totally funny. They played and played. They wrestled every day. I totally jinxed it though. While they were wrestling, I said something like, "I can't believe no one has broken down in tears yet." Sure enough, a second later Tyler comes running, bawling about how he doesn't want to wrestle any more. Maybe next year he'll toughen up.
Uncle Garrett showed Tyler how he can pull quarters out of your ear. As you can see, Tyler was pretty enthralled in the show. I'm just hoping that he doesn't start shoving quarters in Baby Mike's ears.
Isaac was acting up so Garrett decided to give him a whoppin.' Just kidding, they were wrestling and having fun but Garrett does look a little scary.
