Oh Beautiful for Spacious Skies

We had a really pleasant 4th of July Weekend. My parents came up to visit which was great because we put them to work all day Saturday. Is there ever going to be a time when we stop mooching off of our parents?? My guess is probably not. My mom watched the kids while we worked on the house...by "we" I mean my dad. He helped us a ton with a bunch of projects we needed to do around the house. Thanks parents!!

We worked my dad so hard that Tyler was able to swipe his cool iphone while he was passed out on the couch.

Mom was the hero of Sunday when she and Ty made and decorated cup cakes together. Pretty sure that Tyler had a "little lick" from every single one.

We went to the Liberty Fest Parade (more details about that later) on Monday morning. I haven't been to a parade in years and we had a great time. Even though it was one million and ten degrees outside, I loved it. I think it may become a family tradition.
