I can't remember the last time I've been to a parade and besides the fact that it was one billion and ten degrees outside, I loved it. Tom and I are totally sold on the hometown feel of where we live and nothing says "hometown" like a local parade.
How cute are these square dance people? They looked like they were having loads of fun. I was wishing my awesome Grandma had a club like that to join.
Tom was laughing a little when these guys passed but I think he secretly wanted to enlist.
Nothing says "Fourth of July" like Darth and Leah.
Tyler's commentary on the Storm Trooper:
"The white guy came up to talk to me. He's two...he didn't tickle me."
The storm trooper put to fingers up to his eyes like, "I'm watching you" but Ty thought he was saying he was two. I have no idea where the tickle thing came from but he says that about strangers a lot. (i.e. "A guy came to work on our house but he didn't tickle me.") Should I be concerned?
What would Betsy Ross think about this roller derby girl?
