Happy Halloween!

Disclaimer: I don't know what I did, but I've totally messed up the formating of my blog and that's why all the writing doesn't match up with the pictures.  When I have more time, I'll figure it out.  :)

Isn't it funny how so many people update their blog after Halloween?  I love it!!  I need to go back next year at the beginning of October to get ideas.

Our Halloween started with me running a 5K.  I had a ton of fun but I'm not so sure Tom loved getting up at the crack of dawn on a Saturday.  He was a good sport and didn't even act like he was tired the whole time.  We dressed Tyler up as a leopard.  He loved watching all the people and getting a ton of attention.  What can I say, he's truly Tom and my child.

Tyler did a great job cheering for all the runners. It was so cute. He stood at the side of the road, clapping his hands and yelling.

On Friday night, Bekah, Jim and I (Tom had to work) took Tyler and Ellie to a pumpkin patch.  Isn't Ellie's little pirate costume the cutest thing you've ever seen?

We took Ty trick or treating to a few houses and then called it a night.  Because I'm an uptight mom, Tyler is not really a candy eater, but he sure loved crinkling it up and throwing it around the house.  Tom and I loved eating it so everyone was happy.  I have to say that Tyler was super cute because we taught him out to say "BOO" and he kept saying it over and over (except if someone besides us was watching).  Maybe next year we can learn "trick or treat."
