Monkeys, Voting and Soccer

Sometimes I feel like I might go crazy.  Being a parent isn't for wimps.  With that being said, it's amazing how fulfilling it can be.  I remember the ever so wise Erica telling me that with more kids comes that much more love and it's not like it's divided it's increased. That Erica, what a smarty pants.

The height of craziness at our house begins around three and ends at bedtime.  I've discovered that if we go to the park after nap time, we are better able to make it to bedtime without melt downs.  When we went the park the other day, Tyler and Mikey decided to be monkeys.  They'd hang upside down and say, "eeeeeeeeeee!"  They were both pretty proud of their monkey abilities.

This is the annual Robin's Brothers Voting picture.  It's funny to think that Tyler was just a tiny baby the last time we voted for a president.  Voting day is the only time Tom insists that we take a picture.  He instructed me that I needed to make sure the boys were with me when I voted so I could get a cute picture of them.  Ty isn't looking at the camera because people were passing saying things like, "Oh, those boys are so cute."  Pretty sure Tyler is going to grow up to be a politician...or anything that allows you to be the center of attention.  He's a ham and Mikey is quick to follow Ty's example.
Tonight is Tyler's last soccer game.  I'm bummed because he loves it.  When the other kids are crying and not wanting to go into the game, Tyler is on the edge of his seat waiting to get called.  I love his enthusiasm.
Yesterday at soccer practice, they gave out the medals.  Tyler's team is the Bears. They tie "Mr Bear" to the goal so the kids know where to kick it.  Coach Cari has been great.  She has done so well with motivating all the kids and helping them understand the game.  Tyler loves her...and Mr. Bear.  What a great season...hopefully we can look forward to the same enthusiasm next year.

Always fun to see your cute, little monkeys. I like the voting pic. tradition.
