I love that we live so close to my parents. A few weeks ago, we went down to surprise my dad for his birthday. Actually, we did a late surprise because we couldn't get down there on his actual birthday (hence the half eaten cake that we put candles back into). The boys loved every minute of Grandma and Grandpa's house. They loved getting a genuinely surprised reaction from my dad, eating cake, playing with all the great grandparent toys, seeing Ellie, Avery and Cute Little Baby Huck, building something with Grandpa, and snuggling up in Grandma's bed to watch a show in the morning. I loved hanging out with my parents and especially playing games. My family has a crazy amount of endurance when it comes to playing game after game after game. I made them play trains until I won...which took a while. Happy Late Birthday Daddy! Thanks for letting us celebrate with ya!!
