Springtime in January
The weather here has been amazing and we're soaking up every minute of it. The boys love to play outside. They go almost everyday right before their nap and right before dinner. I love that they're starting to enjoy playing together. Typically Tyler won't go outside unless Mikey comes with him; unfortunately, when they are both out there Ty steals all of Michael's toys. We're working on that one.
As always Tyler is the first to grab the football. When Tom is around it's more fun because they tackle. We actually have a rule, "We only tackle Daddy and Uncles." Today we had a little play date over here and Tyler asked the boy if he liked tackling. I was super proud of him because he's finally learning when it's appropriate to be rough and when it's not. The other day his preschool teacher told me that when he walked in he said, "Is this a tackling day?" Seriously, I wanted to throw a party to celebrate. Check out that intent face. I love it!
Mikey loves the slide. I'm pretty sure that he would go down all day long if I'd let him. He also loves Tyler. Yesterday they were outside playing. Tyler would throw the Frisbee and Mikey would laugh; so of course, Tyler would throw it again. (Just like a true Robins, giving the crowd what they want.)
Like Tyler, Mikey's teeth are growing in out of order. He started with his bottom which isn't too uncommon but then the outside ones on top grew in before the middle ones. He looks like a little vampire baby. We think it's the cutest thing ever; however, we think everything about him is the cutest thing ever so we might not be the best judges. Seriously, how can you resist that smiley, slobbery face.

How funny about the teeth. I think the same thing happened with Mike and Tom when they were babies, and my mom was worried their front ones weren't going to grow in, so it must be hereditary!
PS While your boys are getting teeth, our girls are losing theirs. When Macy told us hers was wiggly, we said, "You're not old enough for that yet!"
Vampire teeth must be hereditary. When it happened to Mike & Tom. I really wasn't sure they'd get front teeth! I can't wait to see Mikey's smile soon and play tackle with Tyler.
