Santa brought Tyler and Mikey a "car ramp." They both loved it but they didn't love sharing. What punks. Notice the gate up so no kids would come it and take their toys. I'm sure you can guess which of my boys insisted on the gate. Luckily, everyone, including the other kids, were patient with my boys desire to play with their toy alone for a while. Like I said, I have an awesome family.

Merry Christmas 2011
Just like everyone else, our December was crazy. While filled with fun adventures, it also included a wide range of yucky sicknesses. Luckily, with the advent of 2012 all are well in the Robins' household.
We started off the Christmas Season by doing a 1 mile fun run with Santa at Tom's work. Tyler was super cute. The entire way there, he talked about winning the Piston Cup (can you guess who's been watching Cars?). We got there and he was one of the youngest kids. On the way home he kept talking about how he didn't win the Piston Cup "but that's okay." Luckily running with Santa was enough to ease the blow of not coming in first. Oh, how I love Tyler boy.
Every other year we go to El Paso to spend Christmas with my dad's side of the family. My brothers and I are the only ones with kids. It was crazy to throw six kids into what is usually an adult only party. Everyone was super supportive, patient, nice, understanding, accommodating.....etc, etc, etc. My family dominates. The kids were funny with each other. Overall, they played really well. It made me wish we could get them together more often.
We had the kids act out the Nativity. Isaac chose to be a Shepard and Tyler wanted to be the angel. To the untrained eye, it might look like Lily is Mary but really she's really a spider (her choice). Seriously, I can't get enough of that girl. What a cutie!! Luckily my aunt stepped in as Mary. What cute kids!!
Like I said, I can't get enough of little Lily. I guess at one point, she leaned over to Garrett and said, "Daddy, those boys are loud." Poor little girl was such a good sport with Tyler and Isaac bringing down the house.
Because Tyler and Isaac were getting so crazy, we told them they had to be "reverent" before we could get started with all the present opening. Nice job setting a good example Janie!
Hooray for Christmas!
