Family Time

This past weekend we went to visit my parents and Bekah's family. My parent's house is a little less than two hours away from ours and Bekah's is even closer. I'm happy that it's so easy to see them. I need to make the effort to go more often. When Tyler woke up on Saturday morning, he said, "When I'm at Grandma's house, I watch a show on her bed in the morning." I love that traditions are starting to be formed. Apparently another tradition is that we go to the Bouncy Barn. Those places are super fun but I always feel like I should purell everyone and everything once we leave. Both boys loved the slide and the fun game that Grandma created. They'd go up to her and put their hands on the netting and she'd push them down. After both boys did it, a bunch of other kids lined up for it too. Who knew getting pushed down could be so fun? Thanks Grandma!
When I uploaded this picture of Tyler and Ellie I got a little teary eyed. On Friday night we celebrated Ellie's third birthday. She and Tyler became such great buddies when we lived there and I hate that we can't play with them all the time. I'm obsessed with Bekah and her girls. At least once a week I think, "I wish I could have them over or go over there right now." I know they don't live that far away but it's not close enough to hang out like we used too. Come on guys, move to Oklahoma City
Our trip to Tulsa also included me running with my great friend Andrea and Grandpa making a "saw" (made from cardboard, black tape and foil) for Tyler. He held it the entire way home, busying himself by sawing the chair, his toys, legs, arms, etc. Thanks for the cool toy Grandpa. Aren't my parents the best?

It's so funny to read your posts and read "Tyler" and "Mikey"! It throws me for a minute. Your boys are so cute. Tyler and Jackson would have so much fun together. Any chance you guys will be in utah this summer?? pretty please? if not...we'll have to plan a stop in OK summer 2013.
