Baby Michael's Blessing

Last Sunday Tom was able to bless Michael at church. Tom and I were grateful to be able to share the moment with friends and family. Brian, April, Isaac and Grant drove up from TX and Tom's dad's family came in from TN. Obviously, my parents and Bekah's family were there too because they live close. It was a beautiful weekend so we spent some time outside playing. Uncle Brian was a big hit because he brought his long boards and the kids had a blast riding them. I kept thinking about how Brian and April were long boarding when he proposed to her and how much life has changed since then. Do you think he pictured his kids and nephew sitting on them riding up and down the street when he made them five years ago?

This picture cracks me up because we were all outside and Isaac got into a big pile of grass clippings. April was cleaning him up and explaining that he shouldn't do that. Were we helping??? No, just watching. What punks we are? I'm glad April loves us anyway. Actually, as I look as this picture, I'm realizing that everyone was holding a kid except me...I was taking the picture. I guess I'm the only one who was a punk. Sorry April!

Here we are getting ready for church. We were in a rush but Tom was a good sport and indulged my desire of a family picture. Don't worry I'm not strangling Mikey just holding his head up.

Here's Tom's dad, Ken, Lisa and Johnathon. Can you tell we're reading for pictures to be done? They were so great to drive all the way from TN to be there with us.

I love how my dad is looking at his grand kids. He and my mom are so great to always play with, take care of and entertain my boys.

Everything went really smoothly during the blessing. Mikey was happy, Tyler didn't cry about Tom holding Mike. It was wonderful! I'm so grateful for my happy family.
