7 Months

Today I had a doctors appointment and ultra sound. I'm happy to report that our little guy is doing really well. It was so fun to see him move during the ultra sound and feel it at the same time. Feeling movement is my favorite part about being pregnant; it makes all the other stuff not seem like that big of a deal. This pregnancy has flown by compared to being pregnant with Tyler. I think it's because Tyler is such a huge distraction. Tonight as I was folding laundry and watching a movie (confession: I own Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and watched it tonight.), I couldn't help but think how grateful I am to be a mom and be able to spend so much time with Tyler. At the end of the day, I always replay all the events in my head. Inevitably there are moments that try my patience every day, but the good moments usually outweigh them. For example, today we were at Bekah's house and Tyler scooted right up to baby Averi (6 weeks old) and just watched her. He also insisted on holding her and was surprisingly soft. I almost started crying (which is not really that big of a deal because pregnant Emily gets teary-eyed pretty easily). I can't really imagine what it will be like having two kids but seeing Tyler with Averi today gave me a little glimpse. I love being a mom! I'm happy to have a few more months to prepare for a Robins family addition but also anxious to meet our little guy. Speaking of which, everyone has been asking us about what we're going to name him. Answer..."NO idea." Any suggestions???
