Seamstress????

I've been wanting to make new throw pillows for my bed for a long time but haven't mostly because I don't really know how to sew. I've actually "sewn" a bunch of things if you count coming up with an idea and then asking your mom or grandma to show you how to do it which is what I was going to do with these. My mom was super busy this week so I was on my own. I had to call Grandma for a little pep talk and then I made the beauties below. I realize they're simple but it's my first attempt at being a seamstress. Maybe I'll make a blanket next. Grandma would be so proud. :)

These are awesome! I've never sewn anything in my life. I can only admire people that can do stuff like this. There's no way I could...

Good job!! I got my 1st sewing machine for xmas this past yr...it's been fun learning how...you're lucky your mom & gma can teach you =)
