A Change in the Air

This past week has been BEAUTIFUL!!! It was sunny and the temps got up to 70. We've spent a ton of time outside and loved every minute of it. Here's Tyler with a Boccie Ball. This game is a tradition with Tom's family and yesterday we broke out the set to play. Tyler loved chasing the balls around which made it a little less exciting for us...but that's okay. I realize he looks a little...okay a lot...scary with blue splotches all over his face. He had blue berries for dinner. I just like it because he looks really serious about the game. We wanted to let Tom's family know that we are training him young. Tom and I decided that we were going to grow a vegetable garden this year. We spent Saturday digging and tilling (by we I mean mostly Tom...thanks!). This is Tom and our friend Curtis cleaning up the tiller. Before you get too jealous of our beautiful weather, here's what it looks like today. Rain...all day...at least it's not ice and snow. Here's a bonus picture. Tyler cracks me up. Tom and my dad always put carrots in their mouth and hold them there. Tyler is obviously following their example. What a mess. I love it!

I love that last picture. I love the carrot and I really love that his hair is all ruffled in front. What a funny little man.

Tye my boccie ball playing guy! Nothing gets me more amped then seeing generation 3.0 get going on boccie early in life. I cant wait to see him try to take on his great uncles in a few years. (Of course before really playing he will have to put his time in at a “judge”)

If he really wants to look like Grandpa, he needs to be dealing the cards . . . with the carrot hanging out of him mouth! Love it.
