Tyler has been needing a haircut for a long time
(get it long time...hee, hee, hee). Tom thought we should just buzz it but I put my foot down. So, I've been randomly trimming his mullet for the past couple of months. Today I finally broke down and cut the entire thing...or should I say "tried" to cut? I have to admit that it wasn't really successful. His hair looks like he's the younger brother and an older sibling commandeered the scissors.
(In my defence, Tyler is really wiggly...maybe Tom will let me practice on him.:) ) I guess next time I should consult with someone who has experience.

I had to include this one because lately Ty has been having a gillion emotional break downs a day. I think this one might have been because we showed him the wrong picture in the book we were reading. As you can imagine, Tyler has a really hard life. :)
After: I put him in the bathtub so we wouldn't get hair all over the place. In case you were wondering, hair is still all over the place. Oh well...that's what brooms and lint brushes are for.

I remember Tom and Mike teasing me about Robyn's mullet when she was this age. Later, when I saw pics. I'd wished that I'd cut it much, much sooner. (I think Ty still looked cute before). Somehow with a girl, it seemed worse. They used to chant, "Business in the front. Party in the back."
props to you for even attempting! i refuse to cut jack's hair. luckily for me I have a good friend who cuts it for me. but it takes me getting him naked, sitting him on my lap, and then pinning his arms down while my friend runs around us cutting his hair! it's insane!!
Okay . . . so I love it!! He looks adorable . . . and as Garrett said "He looks like a little boy - so grown up!" Love you Tyler Bug!
