Amarillo by Mornin'

This weekend was so wonderful! My parents, Tyler and I drove to Amarillo, TX to spend some time with the family. We stayed at Grandma's house. On Friday Morning, Grandma took Tyler while I was getting ready for the day. She took him out on the porch and showed him the birds and the neighbor's dog. He was completely enthralled with what she was showing him...SO CUTE! On Friday, we drove to Lubbock where my cousin Sarah was able to go to the temple with her little family. To say the least, it was a special experience and I loved every minute of it. Congrats guys!! Tyler had his first real babysitting experience this weekend. My cousin Fleur was nice enough to arrange one for all the little kids. I felt like such a dork because I was freaking out! There were a lot of kids there and...what can I say, I'm a protective mamma. I took this picture because Tyler had his name on his back so the sitter could remember all the little kids names (I think there were 10!). It turns out that Tyler had a great time being with other kids in a new house with different toys. I didn't have anything to worry about. :) Maybe I'll learn to chill out.

good for sara what a fun weekend. The names on the back of the shirts is funny. From all of my experience it is much more difficult to leave your child with an adult you don't know:)

You're not alone on the protective mamma part...I'm like that everytime my family has to get babysitters for 14 kids! MADDNESS!

It looks like he'll be ready for Nursery!(They used to do that name-tag thing).

Glad you had a nice trip!
