We've also spent a lot of time at the pool. Tyler loves going under and also doing his version of cannon balls (we throw him up and let him go under). He also spends a bunch of time "swimming" back and forth between Tom and me. I'm glad that he's such a little fish. Next summer I need to get him in lessons.

Random Summer Fun
We've been trying to do everything we can during these last few summer days before the fall rolls around and life gets crazy again.
Today my mom and I ran a 5k. Tyler and Tom came to cheer us on. Tyler was excited to see the "big guy" but when we got close he wouldn't go without Tom holding him. In Tyler's defense, he is a little scary. Tyler talked about how he gave the "big guy five" the whole way home, all through lunch and during his pre-nap stories.
Why do I always get my picture taken after a race? Before is usually a bit more flattering. I was really proud of my mom for finishing her first 5K. I think I may have converted her over to the "racing side." She's already planning another 5K. Nice work!! I had a great time running but Baby #2 has slowed me down a lot. At least he's also taken the pressure off. I love not worrying about my time.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! Tom and I celebrated our 4th anniversary on Thursday. My mom was nice enough to babysit and Tom was nice enough to endure the movie "Eclipse." Ah...what a great husband. I LOVE being married!!
My cousin Janie came to visit Tyler and I on Wednesday. She's starting medical school in a few weeks; we were excited to monopolize on her time while she still had some. Tyler is obsessed with basket balls and basket ball courts so we decided to get him a hoop and ball. Do you like how I'm taking pictures while Janie is doing all the work to put it together??? She's nice.
Despite his "stinker" face, Tyler loved hanging out with Janie. When she left, he stood at the window saying, "Janie...Janie...Janie..." When he woke up the next morning, the first thing he did was ask for her. She's a big hit!
About once a day Tyler decides he wants to wear these 3D glasses for a while. He has to hold his head up for them to stay on. Do you like his outfit...a onesie that's a little too small, sandals that don't match and a "bracelet" (aka hair tie). I know, I should be a kid fashion designer.

YYEEEEAAAHHHHH Stephanie!!!! I'm proud of your 5k! Now we just need to get Pete to do one. :) And em, you don't even look pregnant. What the heck.
I love that you're still racing Emily, and I think it's awesome that you and your mom got to do a 5k together. You are the most fit pregnant girl I know. Such an inspiration!
