Eureka!

Because my parents are so awesome, Tom and I were able to get away for a Tyler free weekend. On Thursday night we went to my parents and put Tyler down for bed then headed to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. We had a great time eating, lounging by the pool, staying up late, sleeping in and enjoying the pretty Ozark scenery. Tyler had a wonderful time with my parents. As usual, I was a paranoid Mom but didn't need to be. He still hasn't stopped talking about what he did at "Malma" aka Grandma and "Papa" aka Grandpa's house. My parents assure me that they didn't spoil him with candy but he sure has said "sucker" a lot. :)
This is the few outside our hotel. Pretty huh? This sun stone thing isn't really worth mentioning but I thought you might want to see how big Baby Robins #2 is getting. On our way home we found a great burger place called Susie Q's. Corn dogs, fried okra, hamburgers, milk shakes...mmm...maybe it's not just Baby Robins who's getting bigger. :)
The highlight of the trip, for Tom, was going to Bentonville, AK on the way home and seeing the birth place of Wal-Mart.
Quote from Tom, "Seeing the birthplace of Reagan and Wal-Mart all in one year. I don't know if it can get any better."
Thought from Emily, "Mmmm...I wonder if Tom will think the birth of our second child is better?"
We both loved being able to get away. I always have a great time when I hang out with Tom. He's such a funny and fun person. I'm a lucky girl!! Thanks again Mom and Dad for helping out!

hearing this story makes me wish we lived close enough to my family to be able to do that!

Having grandparents that wont give you candy would be like having Santa forgett the X-BOX....and having a wedding anniversary without seeing the birthplace of Walmart would be like finding out the guy you married was not the romantic man you thought he was.
