Update

I keep telling myself that I'll do a blog update more frequently so I don't need to post a million pictures at once...maybe next time I'll do better.

Over the past few weeks the weather has been a bit sketchy (for Oklahoma) so we've spent a lot of time at the science museum.  Here are the boys in tornado ally.  They love it in there...I might if it didn't smell like...I'll let you use your imagination.  At least they're happy right?  We love that place.
A couple of weeks ago, we went down to Tulsa for Ellie's birthday party...so fun.  Afterwards we met up with Grandma.  I don't want to make you jealous, but we went to Sams and Michaels.  I know, the fun never stops.
Michaels turned out to be pretty cool because they had a face painter there.  She was a pro.  Tyler wouldn't smile because camo guys are supposed to look tough.  I wish I had a picture of Mikey sleeping in the car with his puppy face.  SO CUTE!
I can't get enough of these two guys together. They fight and drive each other nuts but they also love each other and have a great time playing.  The other day I was getting things done around the house and they were running around and wrestling. Randomly, I'd hear one of them fuss a bit and then all would be well. At one point Tyler ran in and said, "I hurt Mikey but I said I'm sorry right away." Mikey came toddling after him crying. I asked Mikey if he was okay and if he wanted to come sit with me for a minute. He said no and ran off before I could mention it again. A while later, I was cleaning up in the room where they were happily playing. I looked at Mikey and noticed that he had a huge knot on his head and was bleeding out of his mouth (which turned out to be a little busted lip). Seriously? That kid is tough. At some point, Tyler may be on the receiving end of all he has dished out. I can only imagine how tough baby number three will be.

One of the boys' favorite Christmas gifts was the umbrella that Tom brought home from work.  I know, we really go all out around here.  When it finally rained, the excitement was palpable.
This is Mikey's best little buddy Lacey.  I love the way they play together.  The other day they found two diaper boxes and spent about an hour climbing in and out of them.  The boxes were cars, spaceships, stools...endless possibilities.  Don't you want to kiss Lacey's sweet cheeks?
We've discovered that Tyler is highly motivated by sticker charts.  I made an in depth one that included sleeping, getting ready without complaints and being kind.  Ty worked hard and finally earned his reward: Cars 2 aka The New Lighting McQueen Movie.  I'm realizing I need to find words other than love, excited and happy.  Tyler was all of those things.  His face cracks me up.
My amazing parents had the kids for a couple of days last week, so I could paint Tyler's room.  I know, I'm the most spoiled daughter ever.  Big Mike came to visit and helped out.  Isn't that what you like to do on your vacation?  While the kids were gone, we also bought bunk beds.  My mom (again amazing) brought the boys back and they freaked out when they saw that Big Mike was here.  The next day, they freaked out about the bunk beds.  Mike left on Sunday and we had a big preschool Valentine's Party here at the house on Monday.  Obviously, yesterday we celebrated the real Valentine's Day.  Needless to say, today was a bit of a downer after all that excitement.  It turns out that going to Wal Mart and playing basket ball inside isn't as exciting as Grandma, Big Mike, bunk beds and parties.  Who knew?
Oh yah, it snowed on Tuesday which is another monumental event in the Robin's household.
Luckily we got a little playing time in before it melted the next day.  There has got to be some sort of middle ground between snow lasting one day and it never going away.  Darn that global warming.
We are so blessed to have found Tyler's amazing preschool.  He loves it there.  It's such a positive and fun place.  The Valentine's Party was low key but the kids had a blast passing out their Valentines and enjoying treats.  Tyler has really thrived at school.
Everyday that we drop Tyler off at school, Mikey tries to stay.  Tyler was sweet and let Mikey sit in circle time with him during the party.  When the teacher asked if the kids should get two treats or one, Mikey exclaimed, "TWO!"  He really thought he was part of the class.  What a Robins.
Last year I bought heart plates from Target.  We've been using them all month and the boys are obsessed.  You'll be shocked to hear that they fight over the "sparkly" one.
Happy Valentine's Day!
A couple of my friends were awesome enough to take the boys during lunch and I met up with Tom.  It was a fun break to have lunch with him alone in the middle of the week.  As usual Tom totally bested me in the celebrating department.  He's SO good at making me feel special.  He bought flowers and took me to a nice lunch.  Best of all, he surprised me with tickets to visit Erica in April.  He's staying home with the boys while I go.  I still can't believe it.  Isn't he the best?  I'm excited about the trip but feel even better about the fact that Tom is willing to make such a big sacrifice for me to do something fun.  Love that guy!

In other news, I can feel my little baby boy kicking away in my tummy.  So amazing!  Tyler is insisting that we name him Baylor...I guess that's better than his original name of Vengamine.  Where does he come up with those?

One more big event: We took Mikey's paci away this week.  It was super sad because he started to get teared up when we told him that he was too big for a paci and said, "Mommy, you're going to make me cry."  Break my heart...I wanted to give in right there.  Luckily, in typical Mikey fashion the transition has gone really well.  It took him about a day and a half to get used to it and it's fine now.  I wish I were that good with change.

Yay, for my family.  I'm a happy girl!
