Awkward

A while back, I was at my parents house and found all my school pictures (grades 1-12). Tom was obviously impressed with how cute I was throughout all the grades. Are you jealous that I never went through and awkward stage? KIDDING! If I'm being honest, I'd say I was pretty cute in first grade and then got it back, kinda, by 12th.

Highlights: Sweatshirt Picture for 6th Grade, Perm Gone Wrong in 7th, Beautiful Braces in 9th and Sweater Vest in 11th. Tom's personal favorite is the mullet hairstyle in 4th.

To make myself feel better, I rummaged through some old boxes to see dear sweet Tom as an adolescent. What a looker!! How can a woman resist a man in uniform?

I believe this one was right before Tom and Mike left on their missions which is why Tom is wearing a poncho. (He went to Argentina.) Their facial expressions crack me up. I can't tell if they are excited about missions or about stalking someone. Just when we thought our awkward stages were over, we got this picture from an event we went to with Governor Mitch Daniels from Indiana. Seriously? I don't know where to begin, stringy hair, Tom's facial expression.... We almost threw it away but it's too funny to destroy.

Luckily, we found each other despite our awkwardness.
