Meet Ellie

Gram came to visit this past weekend and we are so sad that she's gone now. This morning after Tom left with Gram, Tyler started crying. Sad. At least we get to see each other again at Thanksgiving. Hooray!! Gram is like a walking preschool of fun. She always brings special games and activities to do with the boys. Tyler loves it. Before she got here Tyler said, "I think Gram is going to bring all of her stuff." Usually Tyler will only sit to read stories right before or after bedtime but with Gram he sat for over an hour reading stories with her...amazing. Little Mikey is also a big fan of Gram. She taught him how to sing "Row Your Boat." Mikey would smile and say, "Row Row Row." Besides Mamma and Dadda, I think that counts as his first word. On Monday we went to the zoo with Gram. We got there just in time to feed the giraffes. Their long slimy tongues made Ty a little nervous at first but then he was all about it. Mike even got in on the action. Tyler thought it was pretty awesome that the one giraffe was named Ellie. (His second cousin and great buddies is named Ellie too.) As usual, when Gram comes we have loads of fun.
