We had our annual
Lovett (my mom's side) Family Reunion last week. There are about a million and one great
grandkids on top of the original 21
grandkids and their spouses. We've been getting together every summer for something like 29 years. I have to say that things have changed a lot in the past few years (marriages, babies, etc). What hasn't changed is how much fun we always have together. I have a really tight
relationship with my cousins, aunts, uncles and
grandparents and I know it's because everyone makes an effort to get together. Thanks for a great time
fam!

This is Grandma with Tyler...it didn't take long at all for him to warm up to her.

This is all the babies that were born last year. Can you believe it??? Aren't they cute? This is on top of all the other great
grandkids and there are four more cousins
prego right now. It was funny how everyone had a baby monitor. Ours never picked up Tyler's crying but did snag a few other kids.

We celebrated Grandma's 80
th birthday which is actually next Tuesday. I could write a book about how cool I think she is. She just got home from a year and a half long mission for our church. She's always cooking meals for people in need and giving them a place to stay. She knows how to email, has a cell phone and was even on
facebook until she decided that she was just to busy to mess with it. She knows all of her
grandkids well and makes sure we know she loves us. I could go on and on...long story short...she's pretty dang cool.

You have the best family! I'm bummed we didn't get to hang. You know how it is when you're a new mom, though--the only thing you (I) ever think about is the baby!! I stink, sorry! I loved seeing your mom, though! I sure love her! Until the next OK trip, I'll just have to be friends with your blog pics!! Love you Em!
